Often computers are slow due to a combination of factors, including software bloat, hardware limitations, and accumulated junk. Software updates and installations (apps) can increase the demands on a computer's resources, while outdated hardware may struggle from old drivers, when newer drivers or firmware are actually available. We do not offer in-house screen repairs. Older computers running MacOS X or Windows 8.x or 10 may just need additional memory and a new SSD to make then run like new.

Windows 10 will reach "End of Life" on October 14, 2025, meaning Microsoft will officially stop providing free technical assistance, feature updates, and crucial security updates for Windows 10. If you're upgrading, we can backup your data and transfer it to a new computer or if you want to keep your current PC, FIT can do an in-place upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 allowing you to update your operating system while keeping your personal files, apps, and settings intact. FIT has been very successful in upgrading top of the line, older PCs, to Windows 11 Home or Pro even though they do not meet the hardware requirements for a Win 11 upgrade.

We can also help you set up your DVR or NVR security system and  we are also happy to set up any peripherals - Wi-Fi printers, Smart TVs or webcams - to work with your current system and show you how to use them.
